George A. Petzetakis – Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO

Mr. George Petzetakis, son of Aristovoulos Petzetakis, founder of A.G. Petzetakis SA, was born in Athens in 1964. He is a graduate of Boston College, U.S.A. with a BSc in Business Administration, and of London School of Economics, U.K., Masters of Science in Finance with Distinction. Moreover, he has attended the Owner/President Management Program of Harvard Business Scholl, Boston, Mass. Last but not least, he is the father of four children.

Mr. George Petzetakis joined the Group in 1986, whereas in 1991 he was elected Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. In January 2003 he was elected Chairman of the Board and also led the Group as CEO until January 2006. During this term the Group expanded its operations significantly through acquisitions and organic growth, and became the leading pipe and hose systems manufacturer in South Eastern Europe and Southern Africa with own factories in 6 countries, and trading presence in more than 80 countries worldwide.

Mr. George Petzetakis maintains an active member in the business community both locally and internationally. Among others, he is Vice-Chairman of the Greek – Latin America Business Council and he has served as member of the General Board of the Hellenic Association of Industries. In 2000, Mr. Petzetakis received the KOUROS award for his performance on the international business track and in 2004 he was the recipient of the Best Managers’ Award for “Best Turnaround Artist of the Year”. In 2005 he was awarded by Athens Chamber of Commerce & Industry (A.C.C.I.) the “International Activity Award” for the company’s performance worldwide.

Mr. George Petzetakis was re-appointed as Group CEO in December 2008 with key objectives, among others, to strengthen the Group’s financial structure, and improve its operating performance.

Petros T. Tzannetakis – Member of the Board of Directors, Independent, Non Executive Member

Mr. Petros Tzannetakis was born in Athens in 1955 and he is the father of 2 children. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Surrey, U.K., and a postgraduate degree on the Economics of the European Union from the University of Sussex, U.K. He is an Executive Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy CEO and CFO of ‘Motor Oil Hellas S.A.’, where he is employed since 1986, being at the same time financial consultant / co-ordinator of Vardinoyannis Group, whereas he is being appointed as independent, non executive member of the Board of Directors of the Company since February 2003.

Mr. George Papageorgantas was born in Famagusta, Cyprus in 1969. He holds Batchelor degrees in Business Administration and Finance and completed postgraduate studies in the UK (MBA). He has worked for Barclays Bank and Royal Dutch Shell in Greece and abroad, as well as for Emporiki Venture Capital, the private equity and venture capital arm of Emporiki Bank Group. Since 2005 he works at the Corporate and Investment Banking Unit (Structured Finance) of Emporiki Bank / Credit Agricole Group.
