02/11/2006 - New Chief Financial Officer for A.G. Petzetakis S.A.

The Company “A.G. Petzetakis S.A.” announces the appointment of Ms Melina Panagos as Chief Financial Officer as of 01.11.06.

During 1988-2001, Ms Panagos held a series of senior positions in the media & telecommunications sectors at Investment Banks in London with a focus on project and structured finance, acquisition finance and restructurings: after six years (1988-1994) in this sector at   Bank of Nova Scotia, London she became co-founder and head of the above sector at ABN AMRO Bank, London (1994-1996). Thereafter she became Global Head of Media & Telecoms at ANZ Investment Bank headquartered in London. From March of 2002-2004 she became Director & Head of Structured Finance at OTE International Investments Ltd, a subsidiary of Hellenic Telecommunications S.A. (OTE). From December 2004 she was transferred to OTE as Director of Financing with responsibility for mergers and acquisitions,  disposals, investments, restructuring of participations and project financing.    

Ms Panagos holds a BSc(Hons)  in Economics from Queen Mary College (University of London) and an MBA from Manchester Business School .
