 05/02/2008 - Announcement for the completion of the signing process of the contracts and the legally binding documents

Hellenic Industry of Plastics and Rubber, Aristovolos G. Petzetakis S.A. announces the completion of the signing process of the contracts and the legally binding documents by all its bank creditors and foreign investors within the time limit provided for in the terms of the Subscription Agreement to the bond issues. The issue of the said bond loans is scheduled to be completed during February after the registration of the related securities, the procedures of which have already commenced. Finally it is clarified that the Company’s exit from the Supervision Category of the Athens Stock Exchange is subject to the fulfillment of the criteria provided for in Rule 213 of its Regulation, which will be examined by the Board of Directors of the Athens Stock Exchange after the release of the Company’s annual financial statements for 2007.
