PETROFLEX®
- NEW FUEL TRANSPORT HOSE FOR THE EUROPEAN MARKET

remaining loyal to its long standing tradition for design and
development of innovative products from thermoplastic materials, is
launching petroflex®
hose in the Greek and European market.
petroflex®
has been successfully launched in Portugal and Spain
since May 2005, it is internationally certified according to
ÅÍ1360
and it is
used for
the transport of fuels. It is estimated that it will replace all
conventional rubber hoses used widely today as it possesses superior
technical features and it comes with very competitive terms in
comparison to all the conventional offerings.
Petroflex®
hose is
the
result of the research and development of the group’s R&D in Portugal.
It is the first hose that is
produced
from thermoplastic materials and will be distributed in the market of
fuel transport
– gas stations, shipping etc.
The
petroflex®
trademark has already been registered in Europe. After
the positive and promising feedback the group has had from the markets
of both Portugal and Spain, A.G.PETZETAKIS is now launching
petroflex®
in the Greek market as well as in all major European countries, aiming
to replace existing conventional solutions available with a new and
technically superior product. The distribution of the hose will take
place either directly with the petrochemical companies or through
specialized technical dealers.
Ppetroflex®–
Technical Features
Petroflex®
hose is a flexible hose that possesses two inner layers
from thermoplastic materials and fuel resistant compounds. It is
manufactured according to BS3395:1989 and EN 1360 standards and has been
certified according to
ÅÍ1360.
The materials used in the production of the hose have an increased
lifecycle and clearly possess superior technical features to those used
in conventional rubber hoses – adhesion between layers, abrasion
resistance etc.*

operates eleven manufacturing units in Greece, S.Africa, Spain,
Portugal, Italy and Germany with installed production capacity of
171.000 tons.
