11/10/2005 - A.G. Petzetakis S.A. - BAUHAUS Contract

 

BAUHAUS, one of Europe’s market leaders in ‘Building Materials Stores’, disposing of a pan-European network of currently 185 stores, awarded Behkaplast GmbH (100% affiliate of A.G.Petzetakis S.A.) a multi-annual contract for ‘Hoses and Brass Dispensing Centers’, which was won in fair competition against all main European hose producing competitors. The contract’s value per annum, which is repetitive, increases the annual turnover of Behkaplast G.m.b.H. by 21% per annum.

The fact that A.G.Petzetakis S.A. disposed of a 100% owned German production in Rheinland-Westphalia guaranteeing uninterrupted and direct flow of supplies to the BAUHAUS stores network, in strict conformity with the ‘Deutsche Trinkwasserverordung’, (i.e. prevailing rules of the German regulatory authorities), were the two main reasons for adjudicating the contract to South-East Europe’s largest Hose and Pipe producer with an annual turnover in excess of 200 Million €. A.G.Petzetakis Group maintains production units in Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany and South Africa and holds many international patents in this industry segment.
