04/07/2005 - A.G. PETZETAKIS’ CHAIRMAN AND MANAGING DIRECTOR, MR GEORGE PETZETAKIS, awarded "TURNAROUND ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2004".

 Mr. George Petzetakis, Chairman and Managing Director of Petzetakis group of companies, received the “BEST MANAGER 2004” award for “BEST TURNAROUND ARTIST FOR 2004”, at a ceremony held in London, New Connaught Rooms - Covent Garden, on June 29^th 2005.

The ceremony took place during the Euromoney Conference in London, titled: “INVEST IN GREECE 2005”. The conference was an excellent opportunity to network with international investors, corporates and clients from around the globe as well as to listen to key political, economic and financial architects from both Greece and the UK. Speakers included Nigel Waterson, MP for Eastbourne, and Spyros Capralos, CEO of Hellenic Exchanges.

The award for ‘BEST TURNAROUND ARTIST FOR 2004’ was presented to Mr. G. Petzetakis by the Chairman of the Athens Stock Exchange, Mr. S. Capralos who congratulated Mr. Petzetakis on the impressive turnaround story of Petzetakis Group of Companies since he took on the lead of the group and up to today.

Mr. Petzetakis commented upon receiving the award “This award serves as recognition of our hard team-work over the past two years. We managed to turnaround our group 180 degrees from extended losses, streamline the company and focus on the core competences, becoming thus competitive again. Thank you for this award. Our next target now is Quality Growth.”
