Participation of
Petzetakis group in BTP EXPO & Forum du BTP at Morocco
Our
Group participated for the first time in the BTP EXPO & Forum du BTP, which was
held from 26 to 30 May 2010 in Casablanca, Morocco. The presence of executives
from the parent company and the subsidiary in Spain was strong as the group's
strategy is to significantly strengthen its operations in North Africa region,
particularly Morocco, which is full of opportunities.
The
exhibition is specialized in solutions / proposals for large Building and Public
Constructions, organized by the 1st agency in Morocco, in partnership with the
Ministry of Equipment and Transport, and the Ministry of Housing, Urban Affairs
and Town Planning. Among the participants, there were many world leading Companies
as well as Public Authorities dealing with Water Management utilities and energy
Issues, construction, and equipment.
It
should be noticed that our company was the only Greek company participated.
During the exhibition, our executives had the opportunity to present our
products to public service representatives and contractors-companies involved in
the construction of major infrastructure projects. Our participation was
successful, and major interest has been expressed about the products and
solutions we offer, dealing mainly with irrigation, sewage, drainage, telecom
and buildings construction.
Morocco has a strong business case, because it is growing robustly, and many
irrigation, sewage and construction projects (Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier) are
about to begin.
